To not brush DSs teeth today?

Of course you not, his teeth wont fall out if you miss a day, i regularly forget to brush ds2(2.8) some days

TBH, I'd be tempted to leave his teeth alone until his mouth is feeling better. Maybe just let him have a chew on his toothbrush as and when he's feeling like it. I'd definitely not force the issue.

When ds had chicken pox I couldn't get anything near his mouth for a couple of days he even struggled to drink although did manage with a straw.
your poor ds has my sympathy it was horrid when ds had them they were everywhere too.

At the monent they are on his sucking thumb in and on his mouth and in his nappy area.

At least he isn't old enough to pick them.
