...... having just seen a new (?) Persil ad that starts with the line "what is a mum? someone who saves for a pretty hat but buys a cricket bat." Witha shot of a woman in the 1950's however remains equally as patronising as it comes up to date. I'm going to have to find a new brand of washing powder.

blimey, can persil still reach the laundry basket from all the way back there in the 50's?

It's a montage of all the Persil adverts ever, from the 1950's to the present day, so it's kind of demonstrating that while attitudes have changed Persil's always been good .... or something.
