Come on, its a soap. Setting up a petition to complain as someone has died strikes me as a bit odd!

I think anyone who watches Eastenders is a little bit sad. I can't see the appeal of watching unattractive people living unattractive little lives. How depressing.

Well, nice to know I'm sad firstly . Secondly, I'd imagine what has pissed people off is the fact that they dragged out a storyline for 6 months and then ended it in one episode with no sense of it being resolved. Sort of, this is what we're going to do blah blah blah, oh no we won't, we've changed our minds, sod everyone who has been following it. I don't think the death of the character is the issue.

Right, best go as my sad programme is on in a minute. I'll remember how sad I am when everyone else is talking about Dr Who, Friends, Lost and whatever other crap is the current obsession.

I am sad too - I love Eastenders - and I have to admit to being pi$$ed off (through my tears - I am super sad!) with Thursday's conclusion to the whole Danielle thing because it was, I think, a bit of a lazy way to deal with it.

Plus, how many people have been mown down on Eastenders over the years? At least 4 now that I can think of.

It was an increasingly tedious storyline though - and Danielle was an incredibly annoying character, so maybe it was the best thing.

And yes, I do know it's not real life (apparently)

btw Jack Ryder (was it Jamie Mitchell??)who was in Eastenders only got a C in his GCSE Drama (according to friends of my sis)- lol - to get a C you gotta be pretty bad!

As I dont watch it I cant really comment, but I thought it was a bit strange that there would be a petition. What are they going to achieve if she is dead now iyswim.

I love Eastenders too and was gutted they killed her off.....BUT, what are these people complaining expecting the producers to do about it?!!
