shes over to play with dd and is usually lovely.her mums told me before she and her brother dont get on but shes always lovely here.today shes shouting at both ds's aged almost 8 and 3.ive said not too and that dd isnt allowed to speak to her brothers like that. as last resort told her that she will have to go home if it happens again-but dont want to be a dragon!

YANBU, and you have to lay down the rules in your own house. Maybe also keep the boys away from DD and her friend?

Maybe she's having a bad day, or taking out her frustration with her own brother on your sons. See how it goes.

My ds has a friend who fights alot with his sister. When he comes here, he tends to try and treat my dd the way he treats his sister.
I find I have to lay down the house rules every time he comes. He is still a lovely boy, and welcome in our home - he just needs alot of reminding
