Today I have been thinking-I love her SO much! She's so funny and clever, she's got a proper little personality now (she's 2) and you can have a conversation with her and everything. All those cliches about doing absolutely anything for them are true. I had PND for a while, and just kind of thought she was cute and nice but now I realise that she is actually the best child ever born! I know I'm biased as I'm her mum, but all the horrible pregnancy and birth were all worth it for such a lovely child I'm head over heels in love Is it true that everyone feels like this about their dcs? I hope the child I'm pg with is as ace!

sweet! and well done you for getting through the pnd

when is your baby due?

Belgianchocolates · 05/04/2009 22:34

Yep... I personally think that my 2dcs are the best in the world and not other child could ever top them and I'm sure every mum of the class mates of my dcs think the same too. Though I am proud to boast a 7yo son who loves to vacuum, which is a pretty unusual thing for a 7yo boy to love.

November It looks like I'm in for another horrible pregnancy, but I keep looking at my dd and reminding myself that it was all worth it last time so it'll be worth it again

It will be worth it LissyGlitter. You'll go through your pregnancy thinking that there's no way you'll ever be able to fall in love with no2 as much as no1, but funnily enough you do. Being a mum gives you an unlimited and amazing capability to love your children.

Lovely post

'Fraid best child ever place is taken by my DD

Is a nice feeling isn't it? I sometimes look at her and think how very, very lucky I am to have such a smashing little person in my life. Before I had her I never really understood the 'I'd do anything/kill for/die for' sentiment - I mean, I thought it was good, but couldn't imagine it, but now I SO do.

trixymalixy · 05/04/2009 22:43

YABU I was just telling my Ds who is also 2 that he is the best thing ever today, so i don't see how your DD could be the best thing ever!!!

I also hope the child I'm pg with is just as fab.

Lovely post BTW.

Ahh, such a lovely post, but sorry my dd is the all out winner. She is a little angel although she ignores most of what I say and does her own thing and then when she knows she has overstepped the line says 'mama' over and over with a big grin and gives me kisses while I'm on my knees cleaning the bathroom floor.

I'm with you EllieG, up until recently I didnt get that sentiment either but I do now.
