DH has suggested a take-away.

I am not allowed wine tonight , have had a bad week , am unable to eat much , so DH said I could have anything.

I am craving a burger.

so asked for burger king ((yeah yeah, I know)).........I even did the puppy-dog-eyes

he said no.

bad unreasonable man

or am I, for daring to ask for BKXmas Hmm

YANBU

shinyshoes · 03/04/2009 18:39

YABU , only because if it were me i'd want a chinese or Indian , not a BK.

He could de tour to a BK though, couldn't he?

TrillianEAstraEgg · 03/04/2009 18:39

Why did he say no? Not a good enough sort of take-away? DI he want some kind of posh takeaway?

TheWiltedBoxOfRoses · 03/04/2009 18:39

Technically burger king is not a takeaway as you have to go get it...
however....
Your ill women! Tell him to move his ass and help you feel better! Nay. DEMAND it!!

racmac · 03/04/2009 18:40

I think he owes you a burger at the very least! But can you eat burgers? Guess he doesnt want a repeat performance

FAQinglovely · 03/04/2009 18:41

"Technically burger king is not a takeaway as you have to go get it...

eh?? surely "take-away" is by definition food that you take away from the premises in which it was prepared??? Some take-aways offer delivery, but even if they don't and only offer take-away for collection only is still a take-away

psychomum5 · 03/04/2009 18:42

welllllllllll..........I would normally opt for indian or chinese, but as I am still on high allergy alert we are thinking safety, and there is one meal only in BK that I am allowed, so why not IMVHO!

wilted, I thought take-away was the type you collected.....otherwise it is a delivery

DSMaryMagdalene · 03/04/2009 18:51
