Hmmm, i think perhaps YABU - will she be taking up one space that a full paying child could have taken?

smudgethepuppydog · 01/04/2009 14:20

Why would they? Can they sell the day she can't attend to someone else?

compo · 01/04/2009 14:20

yabu

they can't give her place to someone else for just one day can they? so it's fair that you would have to pay as your dd is taking a 2 day space even if she's only going 1 day.

It's a two day trip.
You have to pay for hte two days.
It is unfortunate that she cannot attend both days, but you still need to pay.

diedandgonetodevon · 01/04/2009 14:22

YABU. Why on earth do you expect a refund??

Lilyloo · 01/04/2009 14:24

yabu it is not the fault of the orgainisers you cannot make the second day
The overhead costs will still be the same regardless.

I guess your all right although some children cant afford to go at all,I thought perhaps our spare day could be given to one of them?It is an expensive trip and £ are so tight right now...I suppose I need to get over it!
