She is 2 and this is her 4th proper pair of shoes. The others have been either clarks or startrite, but these are a brand called Aster - bought from a reputable shoe shop and fitted. She wore them today for the 3rd time and walked a fair bit (for a 2 year old) but still.... am tempted to take them back - shall I?

Yes - if they were fitted they were fitted to not rub and they have - I would go back and demand she is remeasured and new shoes provided which are FIT FOR PURPOSE!

oh yes i would definately take them back..a few years back DS (then 3ish) got blisters from his clarks doodles so i took him back. His feet weren't the right shape for doodles so i got my momey back no problem.

she was wearing socks wasn't she?

katiestar · 31/03/2009 18:53

Absolutely take them back.If you go to specialist shoe shop you are paying for their expertise. If you wanted badly fitted ones that would hurt her feet you could have bought a pair for a fiver !!

yes she had socks on. I'll take them back then - shame bec they're really cute. Do you think I can have a refund rather than change them for something else, bec I didn't really like anything else they had in her size
