Shopping trolleys

I am always surprised at the fact that in stores who charge for the shopping trolley (£1, refundable when you bring the trolley back) they all get put back where they should and the stores who do not charge anything have parking spaces littered with empty trolleys no-one can be botherd to bring back where they belong. I think it says a lot about our society.

Just to make things clear, I am ennoyed at trolleys left everywhere, not the opposite!

You are surprised that people want their quid back?

Or have i mis-understood?

Sorry , no I am surprised that if there is no pound to get back people think it is ok to leave their trolley in the middle of the parking spaces. In other word people just do not care about anything if there is nothing in it for them.

Couldn't agree more! When did we all become so lazy? I always remember taking the trolleys back to the right place when I went shopping with my parents but everyone seemed to just stop bothering a few years ago and it just drives me nuts! I asked a woman in the next baby bay to me the other week whether she really was going to leave her trolley next to my car as she got into her car and she completely ignored me and drove off! I wanted to kill her!!

Also get really miffed when people put the wrong size trolleys together - surely everyone knows the big ones go together and the small ones go next to them and if you're the first in the bay you push your trolley right to the far end!?! or am I being a bit OCD'ish?!
