......... just found a pack of playing cards that I have had for years and years, on the floor of DD's room next to a hole punch, and yep every single one of the cards has got several holes in it .

Sorry but that is exactly the sort of thing I would have done as a child....I also painted their digital alarm clock display with nail polish just to see how it would look which must have really pissed them off as they still go on about it now, 20 years later.

my brother and I painted an exquisite vintage car with household emulsion, seats and everything count yourself lucky

That made me , bless her, as i say to my dd and dil, "she's only a baby, she did'nt mean it"

I can remember before I had kids of my own showing my little nephew a seashell I'd brought all the way back from America carefully protected to preserve the fact that it was a slightly open perfect peach baby clam shell.

He held it in his hand and just went CRACK into two pieces. I was gutted and wanted to kill him.

I learned a lot about kids that day...

Irritating isn't destroying things though...irritating is when your two kids shout "yes you did" "no I didn't" at each other for half an hour.

All the flowers in the garden pulled off.
Flowers in the house pulled to bits.
Vinyl records taken out of sleeves and slid across the floor. [and they were on the high shelf]
DVDs slid across the floor.
i could go on....

My brother and his friend painted the friends living room...with gloss paint.

Little sweethearts.

Irritating is also:
Agreeing to the tea you are about to cook and then when you serve it they burst into tears and scream "I DIDN'T WANT THAT!"

Needing the loo when you walked past one (in the opposite direction) 10 minutes ago.

Keep shouting
"mum....mum.....mum....MUM....MUUUM...MUUUUM" when you are trying to have a poo.

Ask you the whereabouts of an old abandoned toy you secretly threw out two days ago.

Asking if the worst kid in the school can come for tea when the mother is standing right by you.

Taking up a hobby that has kit costing a small fortune then say it's boring after 2 months.
