to be reeeeeally bored

I love being at home with my 9 month old but my god I am suffering from boredom today.

Normally I'd do the cleaning but (don't flame me!) we have a cleaner starting tomorrow (as I go back to work p/t in a month so will need one then, want to try out first while I'm here) and besides the house is tidy. All the ironing is done. It's raining. I've emptied the basked of toys. We've been to a baby sign class this morning. We've had a walk. We've read books. We've used the walker.

Any suggestions, I am sooo bored..

Draw tattoos on your LO with washable markers?

Drugs?
Drink?

Or

Cook something nice for tea?
Dance round like a loon to music?

mummy2isla I have a magic box in the corner of the room which when switched on beams images of little people doing plays and things directly into my living room.

It keeps me entertained for hours

Magic box sounds like a good idea!
Also out of sheer boredom I have rounded up some clothes to wash and am making some baby food to puree.
Then am going to tattoo my LO -

Bake a cake while the baby entertains herself!

Baby is grizzly and not wanting to entertain herself or nap!
Ha, have found a letter to post and the raincover for the pram - we're off!

Wow JazzHands, your magic box sounds great. I have a different sort of magic box, I type things into it and invisible people type messages back. DP calls them my imaginary friends.

Ooh trillian I have one of those too! I can do it and have the magic box at the same time as I am a very able woman who can multi-task effortlessly

mummy2isla if you get bored again my house could do with a good clean! I would do it myself but the magic box demands a lot of my time...

On my magic box at the moment there is a play about little people in the future wearing jumpsuits.

It is called space 1999 and I think it is quite the thing. Very modern.
