Very bashful namechanger

Ok here goes.

DH and I have had this thing where we have agreed to do the other's favourite fantasy. We've done mine, which was nice .

The trouble is I thought I knew what his was going to be and it's not what I expected.

So, if you were in this position would you so some or any of the following:

a. put on a lot of weight
b. wear clothes he likes but make you look like something Wayne Rooney would go for
c. stop removing unwanted hair
d. dye hair appalling/unflattering colour

It's one of those but I am too embarrassed to say which.

DH thinks I have conned him, he doesn't think his request is a big deal.

Ohbling, funny you should say that, because thats sort of what we had "words" about.

I suggested that he take 2 weeks off work so that he could do the school run etc and I could skulk in the house.

He said that it wouldn't take 2 weeks for me to grow a tache.

I yelled, "I am a WOMAN. Not Freddie Sodding Mercury!" and he slammed out.

He hasn't phoned me. I don't know what approach to take next.

PinkTulips · 27/03/2009 13:20

did you ask him to make himself look horrible for the whole world to see?

if not then no it's not reciprcating what he did for you.

of course people will notice, if they didn't no one would remove unwanted facial hair in the first place fgs!

tell him to eff off and by the way, i'd be pretty pissed off if dp asked me to look like a woamn he used to have a crush on... 'fake' celebrities who lets face it don't look like their public image anyway are one thing but to ask you to model yourself on a real life person he had a crush on is weird.

BackOnMyWord · 27/03/2009 13:21

My one was just for him to smack my bottom

Ooh, I like that one to...it's hardly violence towards women though! He should just think of something else, they are not comparable...what did you think his would be?

maybe he's embarrassed?

BitOfFun · 27/03/2009 13:24

too

< shame >

doggiesayswoof · 27/03/2009 13:24

he did something for you that made him uncomfortable.

i think you should do it if you can.

as a one-off

BackOnMyWord · 27/03/2009 13:25

laugh away Korma, I would if it was you!!

The ironic thing is that I have just started helping at the boys' gym class and DH is very taken with seeing me in my leotards. I really thought his fantasy would be a naked gymnastics display from yours truly and not only would I have done this but - get this! - I had even been practising.

My eyes, my eyes!!

PinkTulips · 27/03/2009 13:27

omg, almost fell of my chair laughing at "I am a WOMAN. Not Freddie Sodding Mercury!"

sorry [sensible face]

indulging in a fetish is only ok if both parties are comfortable with it

FigmentOfYourImagination · 27/03/2009 13:28

dsw, but the OP will have to go work (?), the shops, live her life with a sodding great burgeoning Victorian Ringmaster of a 'tache until it grows in fully. All very well in the bedroom but she actually has to grow this 'in' and will have to do that in public which is something she would feel humiliated doing.

That is not something she should be doing just to return a favour, imo and as nab says, her DH, if he loves and respects her, should not be expecting her to go through with it knowing that she feels the way she does.

TBCoalman · 27/03/2009 13:29

Just tell him you are growing it and then don't.

When he asks stat wailing 'Can't you see it, it's enormous and everyone is staring, but I did it for yooouuu'.

Refuse to accept that he cannot see it. Tell him he needs his eyes testing.

Now its your turn to choose again.

nomoreamover · 27/03/2009 13:29

SOrry OP but I am too joining the giggle brigade........a tashe? Seriously?

Why oh why would a man want facial hair on his mrs? How could this be nice? I don't think I have the capacity to grow a tashe - i mean yeah there's a shadow there but nothing more nothing less - are you really being serious?

How would you go about growing it - just tell him your hormones don't aloow you to grow a tashe - he can't have a go at your biology!

Galava · 27/03/2009 13:31

at practicing !!

BackOnMyWord · 27/03/2009 13:32

"tell him you want to break free "

  • thanks Korma, I'd forgotten that video, that's what I'd bloody well look like, isn't it?

I am laughing too - if I didn't I'd cry - I'm not surprised people are saying troll.
