Very bashful namechanger

Ok here goes.

DH and I have had this thing where we have agreed to do the other's favourite fantasy. We've done mine, which was nice .

The trouble is I thought I knew what his was going to be and it's not what I expected.

So, if you were in this position would you so some or any of the following:

a. put on a lot of weight
b. wear clothes he likes but make you look like something Wayne Rooney would go for
c. stop removing unwanted hair
d. dye hair appalling/unflattering colour

It's one of those but I am too embarrassed to say which.

DH thinks I have conned him, he doesn't think his request is a big deal.

Hey get back here backonmyword you've namechanged so we don't know who you are anyway?

Tell us Tell us Tell us Tell us Tell us Tell us Tell us Tell us Tell us.........I'll go on

OMG I didn't expect so many responses.

Actually I had better fess up and say that it is c.

The reason I put all the other options is that I wondered how many women would be prepared to look a fright to please their man. And not everyone will understand my predicament.

And the c I am talking about is facial hair. That is the problem. I am very hairy. You will know if I suddenly die, as the Veet company will go out of business overnight.

I hate my facial hair. He knows this. But his first ever "fantasy woman" was a teacher who, although a very pretty sexy woman (he says) had quite a moustache.

So he wants me to leave off the cream for a bit and let it grow. He doesn't think anyone will notice BUT THEY WILL.

I have suggested trying a theatrical one - like Gwyneth Paltrow in Shakespeare in Love - but he says he didn't hers very much. I wondered why he sat through that film with me, he normally hates stuff like that and starts reading the paper.

StudentMadwife · 27/03/2009 13:10

I wouldnt

BackOnMyWord · 27/03/2009 13:11

Phew I am glad you agree it's not on.

But he did my one, how do I get out of reciprocating?

We've already had, well not a row, exactly but a slammed front door about it.

HOw long does it take? Can he take you sto some gorgeous place for a romantic getaway where you don't have to see anyone and let it grow while there?

Curiousmama · 27/03/2009 13:12

NO ONE will notice?????

Ok I've got to ask...is he bi?

NO do not do this you will look hideous. Book in for electrolosis immediately.

Jux · 27/03/2009 13:12

Did he have to do anything that lasted longer than the night for your fantasy? If not, then he's cheating.

Thunderduck · 27/03/2009 13:13

Why ask if he's bi?

Curiousmama · 27/03/2009 13:13

I'm thinking the 9 1/2 weeks scene where she goes out dressed as a man now

Curiousmama · 27/03/2009 13:14

Just that men have tashes not women. A lot of people are bi.

BitOfFun · 27/03/2009 13:15

No, I think you are entitled to say no as it makes you feel humiliated and unattractive, and it is "public". A respectful partner wouldn't want you to feel that bad trying to do something bedroom-related.

Lawks · 27/03/2009 13:16

Bah. strokes.

BitOfFun · 27/03/2009 13:16

(I know Lawks, that nearly killed me )

Galava · 27/03/2009 13:16

Thats a big ask for you.

Especially if you are not happy about it.

I'd say no.

Unless your request made him squirm as much and then in ythat case I guess fair is fair !

#FWIW I think that this was a really good idea to suggest to liven things up.

... contemplates doing similar with DH but adding lots of caveats .....

Thunderduck · 27/03/2009 13:16

I know a lot of people are bi, my dp is. I just didn't see it's relevance to this. But I'm easily confused.

BitOfFun · 27/03/2009 13:17

(being sensible, not your crap typing)
