am i being a wimp??

have two gorgeous stepkids age 7 and 8 who stay every other week. a gorgoeus DD who is 21 months and turning into a little devil and i was planning to get pregnant with number 2 this summer. i do 100% of my daughters care and most of my stepkids care, washing cooking etc and dont know if i could cope with another pregnancy let alone another baby but know i'll regret it if i dont. i also find my patience going alot more now and lose my cool with DD occaisionally and am worried this would get worse and be unfair on her. am i being too much of a fart?

Why this summer? Who are you being unreasonable to? If you don't feel ready then why not wait?

We all loose patience from time to time.

If you are not ready this summer then wait, Having a plan doesn't mean you need to stick to it!

You may find things easier in a few months and then you can see how you feel. If you are finding it difficult at the moment, then now isn't a good time to pregnant.

Floppy, I have only one child and no step kids, btu when ds was 21 mths I would have baulked at the thought of another baby. Now he is 2.7 and I feel I could cope. He is much more independent and can paly by himslef fo r awhile and is generally a great wee guy. At 21 mths, I found him hard going. So wait a wee while. See how you feel in 5 or 6 mths.

My DS has just turned 2, and I'm 5 months pregnant and wondering how on earth I'm going to cope. BUT..... I know I will. I like that they'll be close enough in age that they are more likely to be good friends and playmates for each other.

And as to losing your cool, don't we all? Wait until they're teenagers!!!!!
