It really winds me up when people write a message to this effect:

---

YES I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE JUST SAID. OOOPS sorry for the capitals, forgot caps was on.

------

or

-----

shshdjgfuergtebsj ooops sorry, was just wiping the keyboard down. Anyway....
----

why do people post shit like this? why not just delete all the crap before you press send???

Are you bored today then, Scott?

BalloonSlayer · 25/03/2009 13:43

hahahahahahaha!

YANBU!

In fact I posted this very complaint on the "thing that irrationally wind the hell out of you" thread only yesterday.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 25/03/2009 13:43

Lol! I saw one very much in that style a couple of days ago and thought the same thing

BecauseImWorthIt · 25/03/2009 13:43

YANBU at all. Drives me nuts.

DSM · 25/03/2009 13:44

YANBU

ScottsinSocks · 25/03/2009 13:44

Yes I did see that pink cow on the motorway the other day ..... oops! wrong thread, sorry.

No I'm not bored. Just wanna get it off my chest.

Gorionine · 25/03/2009 13:45

Maybe It would have taken longer to restart the post than to just say sorry and carry on!

bubblagirl · 25/03/2009 13:45

i think too many people have not enough important things to worry and fret about

beansontoast · 25/03/2009 13:46

I would guess that people like to leave in their errors as a way of preserving idiosyncracies (?)...errors occur in spoken conversation, and are usually overlooked..

editing and previewing might thwart the comm process for some posters?

bubblagirl · 25/03/2009 13:47

ive had to type things like this when dealing with my ds who has ASD dont have long enough to delete and start again but then i have something more important to worry about my ds

PartOfTheHumphreysGroup · 25/03/2009 13:50

Yanbu - have thought the same many times

Lulumama · 25/03/2009 13:51
AlistairSim · 25/03/2009 13:53

Yanbu.

It's just weird.

coochicoo · 25/03/2009 15:41

I've always wondered the same thing, but I can't say it winds me up.

SeaBrook · 25/03/2009 21:42

My friend does this on msn, I do find it annoying

Mumcentreplus · 25/03/2009 21:53

I think it's funny they are obviously extracting urine..

chipmonkey · 25/03/2009 22:02

I find this annoying too but had come to the conclusion that it was just me being pedantic as usual

ChippingIn · 26/03/2009 00:40

I can't understand why people do it? Most of the time the 'sorry' is longer than the bit in CAPS.... so why not just re-type it? You must be touch typing if you haven't noticed it and if you are touch typing you are usually fairly fast....

However, I'm sure the pedants would have a thing or two to say about some of my hastily typed posts!!
