To think if i am going to accidentally shoplift i would at least come away with something of actual use!!

I went shopping for DPs bday card today, had a load of bags with me. When i got home i had an extra carrier bag - full of shiny confetti for different ages and occasions!!

I mean, what fecking use is that to anyone!! Although i do have a friend who is having a 30th birthday party soon!

Do you think it would be terrible to lift a couple of packets of 30s for my trouble before taking the rest back to the shop in the morning??

how did you manage to steal the confetti? did you have a small child to hold responsible?

my ds loved accessorize and claire's and used to put stuff in the shopping basket under dd's pushchair every time we went in. I became known as the frazzled mum with the bead kleptomaniac kid.

God gemmie. My ds went through a similiar phase.... It was jewellery from the stand in 'next' with him. Stuffed down the sides of his pushchair!

I had carrier bags with me which i put down when i paid for a card, their confetti was also in a carrier bag by the counter so i must have picked it up along with my bags when i left

Well, i thought this was mildly amusing!!

The shopkeeper on the other hand seems to have had a sense of humour failure!! I took them back this morning, she said "Oh my god, we have searched high and low for that - i knew someone had walked out with it!" I just turned round and said well yes, had it have been any use to me i would have kept it and walked out! Honestly, some people!!!!
