He is always telling me how bad his life is and he is 'hoping to kill his liver soon'

He is so bloody depressive, he is atm telling me his GF troubles, and about their sex life (which i really do not want to know about)

Somebody please kill me

Poor guy. Looks like he needs some support and help. Depression is no joke, I've been there myself.

YABU. Where is your empathy?

TheLadyEvenstar · 24/03/2009 01:57

LOL who is he?

MsSpentYouth · 24/03/2009 02:01

he is this guy that always used to hit on me, i stopped speaking to him for ages because he was always on a downer, i started speaking to him again recently because he seemed to be a bit more talkative

I do have empathy but when its the same old story every single time there is only so may times you can repeat the same advice before you start to lose patience

He is sooo selfish, only evern wants to talk about his problems and soon as the conversation isnt about him he loses interest.

I get so fed up with people like him, i have tried before, several times with him but he never listenes to me, yet still asks my advice.

Hmmm, sounds like he's craving attention to me. Does he want you perhaps, and this is his way of getting your attention?

Sorry for the double post!!!

MsSpentYouth · 24/03/2009 02:13

i know he used to, but i don't think he does any more, i actually quite like him when we can talk about normal things, i just get fed up of hearing the same things over and over.

He is just telling me about how he lied to his GF when he was sleeping with her, why? would i want to know that????

TheLadyEvenstar · 24/03/2009 02:14

he wants you!!! Simple as that.....get ya coat girl you've pulled

steviesgirl · 24/03/2009 02:18

Sounds like the guy has issues tbh. At the end of the day, it's up to him to get his head sorted. You can't do it for him.

MsSpentYouth · 24/03/2009 02:21

I sometimes feel like blocking him on MSN but then i know he will know, because i am usually online alot (even if i am not at PC)

I don't want to make him worse just make him wake up iyswim

But until he does i can't listen to it all again

I have my own ishoos ta muchly, i don't need his too (sorry for being a heartless cow)

Sounds like you've been there a lot for him tbh. Sometimes people are beyond help if they won't help themselves. Distance yourself from him for a while and see what happens. Cruel to be kind maybe?

MsSpentYouth · 24/03/2009 02:29

i think you are right, i will give him some space to see how he goes (btw i rarely see him offline, which is maybe why he always seems to moan about things?)

steviesgirl · 24/03/2009 02:36

Do you only know him via the internet or do you know him in the flesh as well?

MsSpentYouth · 24/03/2009 02:45

I know him in the flesh, i used to hang around with him alot, in my 'hanging around' days

OP posts:
steviesgirl · 24/03/2009 02:50

Well, hang around him no more for a while. You might do him a favour.
