It probably has some really good songs for working to, but why bring it out specifically for mothers? Do dads not do housework any more?

I thought it was a bit off as well. Luckily, DH wouldn't ever even consider buying me something like that.

I got some lovely handmade cards from my ds's today, that I wasn't allowed to look at until Sunday, and a decorated flower pot from my ds2 (see profile if you want). If DH bought that for me off one of them, he'd be spitting it out for days.

Well, I guess it's the thought that counts . DS1 was asked to join the others at nursery this morning to make a card and told them that he didn't think he would, because he would rather play with the cars . Fortunately his little borther has been more industrious in his card-making activities.
