Yes YABU ffs.

tune into some floyd or something.

CrackerNut · 18/03/2009 17:58

I know it is very very sad and corney but I love it and keep playing it very loudly.

I just bought the album for my next-door nieghbour's daughter who will be 14 next week.
I'm only listening to it to check it hasn't got any scratches, honest

expatinscotland · 18/03/2009 18:04

that song sets my teeth on edge, especially because my daughters love it.

i don't want them getting the idea that Prince Charming exists at all.

southeastastra · 18/03/2009 18:05

what song is it? who is she?

CrackerNut · 18/03/2009 18:11

I think she was in American Pop Idol or something , someone feel free to correct me if only to make it look like i am not a fan.

She is a country music singer i think, and the song is called Love Story.

Some of her others are too countryfied for me though lol.

CrackerNut · 18/03/2009 18:38

ROFL

I think at least my neighbours must know I like it as I had it rather loud earlier and I had the back door open.

but...in the video the whole 'picking cherries' - too obvious surely?!

cocolepew · 18/03/2009 18:46

DH has just admitted to liking this.
I've started divorce proceedings.

JustKeepSwimming · 18/03/2009 19:21

i like lots of cheesy music so my taste is probably damning praise

friday32 · 18/03/2009 19:57

My daughter has brainwashed me into liking it!!!i have no thoughts of my own anymore just her taste...

lottiejenkins · 18/03/2009 20:10

ashleywilliam · 16/11/2012 11:23

I LOVE IT TO COZ OF THAT IS A GOOD SONG

squeakytoy · 16/11/2012 11:28

Ashley, does your Mummy know you are on here? Grin

quirrelquarrel · 16/11/2012 11:47

Oh my god, that song, it was on forever during Freshers week here, from several flats too............she should have used it in a GCSE music composition and saved our ears. Though of course she didn't even write it probably.

missymoomoomee · 16/11/2012 12:02

YABVVVVVVVVVVU but its so darned catchy I can't stop singing it, I hate myself :(

AmIthatScary · 16/11/2012 12:03

Is that the neverrrrr, everrrrrr, everrrrrrr one?

Vagndidit · 16/11/2012 12:50

Ahem. Taylor Swift is NOT an American Idol. She's a bona fide, real-deal, NashvUlle recordin' artist, y'all whose popularity boggles the mind.

Every friend of mine in the US with a 7+ year old daughter seems to be catching her on tour this summer. Boak! Confused

meboo · 16/11/2012 13:10

Love story??? thats like 3 years old, are you sure thats the right title???

091972 · 16/11/2012 14:57

If you mean that one that goes "Never ever ever...." then YANBU OP. I can't stop singing it either! But then again I also loved that Katy Perry one that went "You're never gonna ever blah blah" in a similar vein. It's cheese but good cheese (if there is such a thing)

squeakytoy · 16/11/2012 16:17

look at the date the thread was started Meboo.. :)
