It's not the bottom that causes my probelms-it's the camel toe...

This will be the first year ever I will venture into the world of leggings and I will be doing it only with very long tunic tops and dresses!!!!! Would not DREAM of doing it with just hip length or shorter tops!

ranting...apparently this fashion is returning...now, I thought we should have learned the first time around, surely...but I suppose it is the nature of fashion, eh....

It's quite weird actually...I did my nursing training 20 years ago....and I am now at Uni to do OT, and the things the fellow students with fashion sense are wearing are pretty much like the things I used to wear back then....
and yes, I used to wear leggings...but even than it was a fashion faux pax to have a shorter top on, lol

I saw the worst sight ever in leggings yesterday. It was a young lady whose thighs were obviously rubbing and the inside seam had broken so she was walking around in a far-too-short skirt and a massive thigh to knee rip! Enough to put me off ever venturing out in them

my sister gave me a pair of cropped leggings the other day-straight to the charity shop i think-they are not for me.

See I do 'do' leggings but not with short tops, it's just wrong, so YANBU, this is not FAME people.

For camel toe, see Madonna in a leotard. It's easier to see than explain.

Leggings are fine if slim, but just accentuate obesity. You need at least a hip length top even if slim to stop them looking silly.

Leggings are fine as an alternative to tights underneath long tops/dresses, even on the larger lady (in my opinion). Worn as trousers, with bum and fanj showing, they are pretty grim.

MrsMattie, it was the latter I was able to observe at McDonald...and whilst the woman wasn't big, really, it just wasn't a good look....

Also YANBU!! Even if the bum is nice I don't want to see it in clingy leggings when I wait behind in a queue. Besides I would get very as my bum is not so good in leggings and short tops, okay in long ones though/
