One of them fed him some icecream (only a tiny amount apparently) No one stopped them doing it..DS is now crapping for england.

He is 8 weeks old ffs

And .... AIBU or just a grumpy fucker that DS was woken early by DP (2 hours) so the kids could play with him despite the fact that i said i had no problems staying till he woke up, which has utterly thrown our 'routine' yes i did have one lol.. everything now 2 hours earlier INCLUDING waking in the night
Arrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!

Rant over lol

The problem is that it sounds as if he is your 1st, if he had older siblings at home you would have to watch them all the time. You also couldn't have a routine-he would have to fit in.
YANBU but you do have to allow for the fact that he isn't the 1st and only-it must be hard so I sympathise.

No he isn't my first lol he's my third but 1st with this P
The kids live elsewhere, i understand that they hadn't seen DS all week but today has been HORRIBLE because DS is now out of the lovely routine i had him in.. not the kids fault, they're only little, but he isn't a bloody toy and i did offer to stay longer
Just got looked at by SIL and DP as if i was a madwoman when i said 'let him sleep'
Well they're not looking after him today are they ffs.
And as for them letting the kids give him a spoonful of ice cream [throwing a fit here emoticon]

blimey, not surprised you are hacked off. What on earth were SIL and dp thinking?!

StercusAccidit · 16/03/2009 23:17

Sorry i KNOW i ABU really its just threw DS into a right tizzy.. maybe he would have had a bad day today anyway

Just feeling a little resentful he seems to be looked at as a toy or a source of entertainment

It was when DP said 'they haven't seen him all week' that i folded.. i should have listened to the voice in my head that said 'well they can see him now but he's asleep and thats the way he's staying' lol

I know babies have to fit in to a family but it pisses me off that every day i do the same thing so he feels settled and this happens. I'm just being a gripey old sod lol
