To be fed up with DP

I have worked all weekend, came home yesterday and had to cook and clean, and again today, DP has gone to bed as there is nothing to do!!! I have unloaded the dishwasher, reloaded it started dinner, put on washing, bathed DS2, I still have the packed lunches to make and tidy up the mess he has made while I was out.

I was sorting the washing out in the bedroom and chatting away to him about something in the news and he said, "if you knew anything about it I would talk to you but you might as well go talk to the wall as it will listen"

I am sick to death of him thinking he is so much smarted and better educated then I am.
At least I live in the real world and am not so brain washed by the bleeding heart mob.
Sometimes I really miss talking to him as we used to talk about everything but others I am so past caring that in matters not any more if he talks to me of not.

Rant over

I pinched it from someone else stercus, can't remember who

it is one of those "what have you learned from Mumsnet things"

kimi, I really hope this is not the case for you, but it really doesn't sound like you are happy with the way your partner is currently treating you

pushkar · 15/03/2009 21:23

he sounds a bit of an idiot like most dc's
men don't do dishes washing machines rubbish children they sleep eat and work and occasionally do a form of recreation but you cant rely on them to do much, you do at home working or not with children....you keep the home going when you go away you can see the difference when they struggle when you are not around so whose the idiot now, me for going away or him for doing home domesticic bliss

men are from mars and women are from venus is not JUST a title of a book.......

StercusAccidit · 16/03/2009 08:46

Whats the useless bit of skin attached to the male penis?

womblingfree · 16/03/2009 08:57

Not necessarily any help, but my DH is being a bit of a prick at the moment, as is my mate's - perhaps there's a full moon or something.

How's your mum getting on by the way?

StercusAccidit · 16/03/2009 09:09

Whose mum lol

womblingfree · 16/03/2009 09:16

Sorry - Kimi's - she had a major op recently if I remember rightly.

Kimi · 17/03/2009 12:36

Hi Womble, She is home now and doing quite well, I should have updated the thread about her, thanks for asking.

YANBU. Don't let him carry on like this - talk it through or demand marriage counselling. It is a form of emotional abuse.

You sound like a star BTW

StercusAccidit · 17/03/2009 15:14

Not a full moon..tis the change in the weather

Men don't need a reason to be odd IMO

womblingfree · 17/03/2009 18:08

Glad your Mum's getting on OK Kimi.

Sound's like your DP needs a kick up the arse though. My DH is being a moody git at the moment, but still pulling his weight around the house!

Kimi · 17/03/2009 19:44

Have started a thread in health about mum, will keep it updated.
