When ever he means 'probably' he say 'prolly'

I asked him why he did it, in case he didn't realise it was wrong, and he said because ha can't be bothered to write 'probably'

It's really getting my goat

lol, thats very good reason. i have male friend who had crush on me about 10 years ago, he often chats andthen he will start flirting which makes me
i just ignore him, he can be quite rude sometimes, i just leaves him, as for some reason i never deleted him off my list, i would feel bad. i just got to accpet he is womaniser, he probably will do that every female on his list. so tbh, thats unreasonable.

Trikken · 12/03/2009 14:43

I have a male friend that does that. The other day he posted that I looked really hot,on fbk which is a compliment in itself but I dont think dh wud be very amused if he saw it, I just ignored it too.

MsSpentYouth · 12/03/2009 14:47

I have never, ever, even once, seen 'prolly' in turn of probably before.

I thought he must have got it wrong, he spelling is otherwise great, doesnt use txt spk, just keeps saying 'prolly' WTF?

MsSpentYouth · 12/03/2009 14:51

purplemonkeydishwasher · 12/03/2009 14:53

oh I HATE that!!!! (pacific)

theDreadPiratePerArdua · 12/03/2009 14:58

d'oh

ChippingIn · 12/03/2009 15:10

MsSpentYouth - you're lucky you haven't seen it before. I do often abreviate when on msn (not that but other words) so I don't find it too much of a crime there (but you are allowed to ) - however, when people actually say it... urghhhhh.

Specific/pacific - urgh urgh urgh
