that's bloomin odd, where has your collegue got this idea from? I'd ask them out right what the heck they think they are doing talking about your private life for a start, secondly, some thing like a pregnancy.

You are well within your rights to have a right bloody go at her. It may be that she got confused with someone else, but even so it's up to you to tell people if you are!

I'm trying to think about it from her point of view but I can't see any situation in which she is not being at best gossipy or at worst malicious.
