yes probably but was just factual rather than meaning to be offensive. I never tell peoplet o piss off and always appreciate that everyone has different opinions which is why i hate it when others tell me to piss off!!

Maybe was a bit much to tell you to piss off but the OP is obviously feeling pretty hurt about the whole thing and your post was somewhat abrupt (don't get why you dropped one in on that thread about interest rates?).

I once went on to a thread and commented that others should be ashamed of themselves for telling an OP to fuck off just because they didn't agree with her posts about how she isn't enjoying MN much anymore.

Her posts weren't harsh or provocative in any way really but she got attacked and I for one think that it's disgusting when that happens.

However I don't know the situation you talk about and I won't read the link you posted so I can't really comment.

I just think that people who post on mumsnet do so becasue they want peoples opinion and the first time the OP heard something other that she wanted she didn't like it.
