Have just wrapped ds1 birthday pressies and it looks a bit sad.

he wanted xbox 360 games and gold live.

Not like the days where it was all big colourful plastic and wooden stuff

I know what you mean. I was in a shop today buying a tiny bit of airfix (the last acceptable 'toy' for my teen) when I saw a tiny toddler pushing a plastic lawnmower around. Far too cute.

I used to wish all the big toys away when they crowded my living room... Bittersweet.

Mine just want money !

Divvy · 07/03/2009 16:21

as they get older, the presents get more expensive and smaller!

it makes for a very small pile at christmas too.

awww katiestar.. great way of making money look pretty (for you own benefit) .. put the money in fivers roll them up with a bit of ribbon and pop in a gift box looks a lot bigger that way
or you can pop money in to balloons and blow them up.. and dc's have to pop them some will have money some will have other things in

money can be made to look big
