To eat crispy duck pancakes for breakfast?

I ordered it for dinner last night and the DC turned their noses up at it so I now have 3/4 of a crispy duck, pancakes, cucumber and spring onion and plum sauce sitting in the fridge.

It's calling me. But it seems so wrong.

OMG, they didn't eat it!? Have it... it'll be deliciously yummy.

thecatintheflat · 05/03/2009 09:36

go for it!

I know, they usually love it. They had soup and bananas instead.

Oh I'm going to (can't help myself emoticon). Not sure if I should warm it up, probably no need?

I feel much envy towards you, TheDevilWearsPrimark. .
One of my all time favourite thingies....( wallows in nostalgia...oh, those fabulous HongKong years....). And resignedly reaches for a jar of Marmite.

Go for it!

I had dds left over tuna pasta bake for breakfast

I'm toying with the idea of chips and gravy. My excuse is I'm a shift worker and my body has no concept of breakfast.

Ooh - we have never had this problem, as there is never any left over. How was it? Did you warm it up, or was it good cold? Please give full details, for future reference!

Oh yum! Crispy Duck is my favourite food ever! (Apart from the Aromatic crispy lamb that my old local takeaway did). Either would be perfectly acceptable as a breakfast food stuff. My dd has eaten prawn crackers for breakfast on many an occasion! (I do make her eat PROPER food too though)

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 05/03/2009 14:30

I just ate it cold, it was delicious thanks! I had 6 or 7 pancakes. Oh dear.

Then I used the remaining duck in a salad with orange, grapefruit, spinach and watercress, drizzled with rice vinegar and soy sauce. So yum.

I don't want dinner now.
