Note the word 'I'

Since when did I become a faceless nameless opinionless person who was always bottom of the list?

I have just screamed my frustration at my six year old son over something minor. I could just not stop it coming out of my mouth.

I feel shit.

Put yourself top of the list then!! You're the adult.......you're in charge of your own life!!

What do you want to happen that isn't happening?

If you don't feel you can change the sitaution, then I'm totally sure your 6YO doesn't know how to either.

If you can rationalise what you want, then talk to the other adults in your family and come up with some sort of plan.

Did you make it up with your 6YO?

Caro,

I read your outpouring on the other thread.

The problem isnt your little boy as I'm sure you are aware but you feckless husband.

I really feel for you. It sounds as if you have no proper marriage and are completely and utterly treated as secondclass.

your husband does not treat you with respect, therefore unfortuately it is likely that your DC will follow.

Does your husband have any redeeming features?
