My DS is 5 months and I can't imagine what it will be like when he is running around and getting into everything. I am a bit scared to read the thread in case it makes me paranoid never ever to leave him alone!

lol. its very funny! I have a 2.8 ds and his latest is i went to put ds2 to sleep came back and he'd taken all the keys off my laptop!! My ds2 is 15 weeks but im ready for all these fun things!! Just make sure you keep anything dangerous out the way and keep locks on dangerous cupboards!

Racingsnake · 03/03/2009 19:26

No, it should give you confidence what they survive!

Racingsnake · 03/03/2009 19:28

DD has done the keys off laptop thing, too. As has the cat. They are very hard to get back on again!

no, read it. It will give you many laughs and prepare you for the horrors ahead.

When he eats his first slug, or puts 10 toilet rolls down the loo and flushes, you won't feel so bad.

PurlyQueen · 03/03/2009 19:49

it's terrifyingly funny.
My little boy is 11 months old. Today he got into the living room when no one was watching and started trying to eat the imitation coals in the fireplace.

CherryChoc · 03/03/2009 22:14

I am reading now ... I'd better hurry up and get home insurance before he is walking!!

Anyone else noticed it's almost exactly 2 years old?

ithinkimtallandblonde · 03/03/2009 22:56

My 20 month Ds old ate washing powder today and before i get flamed i do have child locks, he broke them off and i had only gone for a wee. The child is determined and breaks at least one thing a day. I have an older dd who never did things like this. My nerves are destroyed.

upagumtree · 03/03/2009 23:10

I went for a wee this afternoon. My 20month old took his golden opportunity to play with the phone and dialled 999. The phone has already been moved out of reach for this very reason but he climbed over the sofa to get to it.
Got a mini lecture from woman on other end

upagumtree · 03/03/2009 23:36
