FFS. I get right to the end, taken me hours, what with all the other stuff I am doing.

Not been able to shop as DD been unwell. DH can't shop tomorrow as DD is unwell so not in nursery, and I am at work.

I would prefer he does not take her shopping seeing as she chucked up in sainsburys on thursday .

I am aware that I should have booked my slot before shopping, but as a relative newbie to it all, you would think they would help by telling you prior to starting your shop that they are not delivering to due onsite maintenance!!!

As such, there are no slots available until wednesday. Which means I have to shop after work tomorrow, AND i have wasted hours of my effing time

. Go on, tell me its my own fault for not booking it first.

It's your fault for not booking first [ducks]

In all seriousness tho, that would seriously piss me off too. Wednesday is a long way away in food terms.

It's your own fault for not booking the slot first

(I learnt that the hard way myself)

use tesco - they make you book a slot first

Pigeons - ah, but thing with tesco...I have used them 3 times, and each time they have messed up spectacularly. I have done one sainsbury's shop before and only had one missing item. Plus. I did heart sainsburys

pavlovthecat - I did my Sainsbury order online an hour ago for Tuesday morning.

It worked fine - but then I DID book the slot before putting the order in.

If its any consolation, it happened to me when I put my first order in. Very annoying.

Phew. Tomatoes are a bugger to get out of my hair

pavlovthecat · 01/03/2009 22:58

abetadad - OMG, you mean those slots went in 1 HOUR! holey shite!

Although I guess they go on your area? As in, your area might be ok, but mine might be full now? given they have been shut for deliveries all weekend...does that mean westcountry folk are lazier than your area? (where are you btw).

Your area might have less vans available than mine.

I live in 2 different places and they were both OK for Tuesday. Must be just your area.
