I don't actually think I am.

Becasue you don't start off a request with "pweeze, pweeze could you get me some etc etc...?" when you're addressing your colleagues.

I don't think it's endearing. I think it's demeaning for both me and for her.

I wouldn't even speak like this to my dcs/dog.

lol. someone I work with (a lovely woman) says 'likkle' instead of 'little' all the time. very annoying!

HecatesTwopenceworth · 27/02/2009 19:53

Clearly she thinks she's cute.

She's wrong.

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 27/02/2009 19:53

Ah yes, but she doesn't even have children.

Have you considered sticking one hand on your hip, raising one eyebrow and saying "pweeze?"

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 27/02/2009 19:56

and..and she has no respect for personal space.

Maybe she's a 3 yo living in the body of a 23 year old

I considered sending her to the naughty step until she started speaking properly

Perhaps she just likes a little roleplay?

I suggest you adopt the role of sulky teenager and fold arms, flop your hair over your eyes and grunt.

That or........
A fun game you may like to try is the 'pitch game'. Answer in kind but a tiny bit higher pitched, see if you can't get her to get her really excited and only annoy dogs.

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 27/02/2009 20:22

Slur - I'd love the role of sulky teenager at work.

But just think of the benefits - you could probably get her to do all of your work if you introduce a reward/star chart!
