Am i being unreasonable or just mean to laugh at a little boy fall off his scooter, moments after pushing a little girl over.

Am i alone in the 'poetic justice' or 'what goes around comes around' mentality.....

so long as he wasnt serioulsy hurt I think I'd have laughed a bit also! well at least had a sneeky snigger!

Northernlurker · 26/02/2009 18:54

As long as you would be happy for somebody to laugh at your child in the same circumstances then yes I think you're fine .

strictmumof3 · 26/02/2009 19:00

Oh, i would be the first to laugh at mine in the same circumstances - and they know it!

I laugh at MY son falling off his scooter all the time. He just doesn't pay attention and wants to go really fast...WILL. NOT. BE. TOLD.

Serves him right when he has a stack.

MKG · 26/02/2009 20:14

Sounds ok to me.

CompareTheMeerkat · 26/02/2009 20:15

When was this? Wonders if anyone saw DS pushing DD over whilst on his scooter and then falling over himself yesterday?

Kimi · 26/02/2009 20:27

I laughed when a silly little girl who knocked a lady over while scooting yes scooting round woolworths then went in to some shelves that landed on top of her....

LucyEllensmummy · 26/02/2009 20:44

ooh, this reminds me, today in the supermarket my DD was scooting around - encouraged by me , im trying to get her confidence up and the supermarket has smooth floors - no excuse i know. So, history: A while back i threw an absolute hissy fit in the shop because my DD slipped on cream and was upset because she ruined her coat. I screamed at the shop assistant who was actually being out of order at the time. It was all resolved and I think the shop assistant ended up with a formal warning. Anway, guess who DD crashed into today in the supermarket and was knocked flying? Yep - same guy!! He was mortified the poor sod, especially when he recognised me - i just said to him "sorry, that was my fault" and ushered DD away!! He looked genuinely terrified

That really is a case of karma

Kimi · 27/02/2009 10:41

you not only let your DD scoot around a supermarket you encourage it
Sorry but that is really stupid, what is she knocks over an elderly person?

SuperMario · 27/02/2009 10:41

YOu need to get out more.

LucyEllensmummy · 27/02/2009 11:06

Kimi, you are right - i was an arse!

kettlechip · 27/02/2009 11:30

God that poor shop assistant, no wonder he looked terrified when he saw you coming..

LucyEllensmummy · 27/02/2009 12:12
