To be letting my 2yr old play on the top of the Wendy House in the dark?

He is out there with his big brother and sister and sister's friend and they are having a whale of a time.

It is pitch black, but it is so nice that it is a bit warmer and they can go out and have fun.

First time I saw him on top of the Wendy House I wasn't sure if I should let him, but I decided if I don't look it's fine

My general rule is that if they are capable of climbing up there, they can probably get down safely, too.

Depends what he will land on if he does fall,,,,,,,,,, not wanting to frighten you. My son fell off a storage box onto concrete when climbing and ended up in Casualty!!

A 2 year old on top of a Wendy House ? Recipe for disaster!

Just lawn to fall on.

He is a good climber - I thnk I have a photo on my profile of him up a 5 foot fence before he was 2!

it's fine as long as you don't mind a potential 2 yr old with a broekn collar bone or arm

Love the photos!!! Especially the Brocolli one!! You can see how much weight he lost when he wasn't well, poor little mite!

He looks well able! It's only a single story playhouse . I presume he's now happily tucked up in bed, having had a great evening....

Let everyone else use the cotton wool - you're doing fine letting him live a little (and closing your eyes!)

If it's just grass to fall on, and not massively high, I think that's good parenting. IMO kids only learn to manage risk if exposed to a little.
