To want a parking permit, when my neighbour has one?

I mean, why would the Council map draw a line between their property and ours? Apparently their address is able to obtain a permit, but not ours. I have checked and there is no prohibition listed for our address, so in theory it should be eligible.

Parking in our area is incredibly scarce (London) and with two small DCs, each time we have to park the car miles away it is just so frustrating.

I have written to the Council a second time to ask them to include our address in their zone maps for permits, but I have the feeling that it's about as likely as asking for a reduction in our council tax. ha ha ha.

Surely IANBU?
