To wonder how I had never heard of soft play until I joined Mumsnet when the whole site is obsessed with it!?

I read that as "sweaty rubbery thong" -

Went to a soft play prison for the first time last week - never again. DD loved it but I ended up rocking in a corner being pelted by plastic balls. It seemed to me that the parents were all pretending that it was a great thing for their kids to do, but I looked out of the window,saw a gorgeous sunny day and wondered why the hell we weren't all outside.
Maybe its just me..
