.... especially as they were measured and fitted for my 2 year old son! One is 1/2 size smaller than the other. We were wondering why they were so hard to get on him.

we had the same, I bought an odd pair. Shop was quite rude about it actually - I don't know what made me check, but glad i did.

YABU - it is well known that Clarks don't always measure properly, so why would thye be bothered about selling you a proper pair of shoes?

moonstonefairy · 18/02/2009 09:57

yes, my dd 7 has been in the same size for 11 months now, and she is only just going into it. 11 1/2G.

I insist now that they measure her by hand and not on the machine.

They did this to me too. I rang up to tell them I'd be coming in for the right shoe, and they didnt' sound at all surprised TBH!

babyignoramus · 18/02/2009 12:41

I used to work in a shoe shop and once sold a woman a pair of shoes - one navy, one black. Neither of us noticed and she only realised when she got them out in the daylight. Doh!

Boysboysboys · 18/02/2009 16:12

Bizarrely, he was also measured as a 1/2 size bigger in a different shop 5 minutes earlier!(they didn't have any in his size)
