I have been saying this for nearly 5 years then 11wks ago dc3 was born i am getting more sleep than ever, even dc2 has decided to sleep through now and again.

I feel your pain.
DD is 3 next month and hasn't 'slept through' since she was 4 months old - and then she only did it 2 or 3 times.

Can someone come and stay with them for a night or two so you can go away somewhere? Or vice versa - could they go and stay with someone else? I'd love to try this but DD won't even settle back down for DH sometimes, let alone anyone else

Hope things improve soon.

Sorry, YABVVVVVVU .

The only way I manage to get a reasonable nights sleep is to train the DD's to come into my bed when they need something (usually they only need a cuddle anyway, or the loo in which case they go en route) this way I only need half-wake and mumble at them

The only problem is, they are getting quite large and needing more room in the bed than it has to offer. Issues can also arise when DD2 has a very high fever and wets my (unprotected) bed - we're all camping out in the bunkbeds atm until my bed dries out

This phase will pass.

You have my sympathy though. I am looking forward to the teenage stage when they stay in bed until noon instead of waking up at ungodly o'clock wanting breakfast.
