Agree that St Valentine's Day is for teenagers.

My DH has buggered off to a weekend's karate competition (he's a judge) so I won't see him until Sunday night.

I'm rubbing my hands with glee at the thought of a whole bottle of cava, the computer (for mn) and the whole bed... all to myself all night!

Surely a romantic meal on valentine's day doesn't mean anything anyway? It's all prompted, forced and "you must do this" instead of spontaneous and genuine IMPO

Why not just go out for dinner or something in a few weeks when he's not expecting it?
