To wish that if DH must die from man flu he'd do it quietly?

I spend all of my working day encouraging small people to cover their mouths when they cough and to use a tissue for their noses when the blow them/sneeze. I get home tonightand DH is doing a creat impression of a dying swan. I'm sure the whole street knows he has a blocked nose. If I hear "I'm not well" once more tonight...

YANBU at all.

DP is currently dying too. Bloody annoying.

myfunnynametaken · 13/02/2009 22:42

for those who haven't seen it already

man flu

LuckySalem · 13/02/2009 22:44

oh LMFAO!!

PussyNoMore · 13/02/2009 22:44

YANBU. DH had a virus last week, honestly with all the heavy breathing DH was doing, the neighbours probably thought we were up all night shagging. Gosh, the drama.

Next morning I walked into the kitchen I found packets of Lemsips on the floor, along with a trail of cheese and onion chrisps and empty yogurt pots. Seriosly if you had real flu would you raid the snack cupboard in the middle of the night?

smudgethepuppydog · 13/02/2009 22:50

PNM-The poor love needed carbohydrates for energy and strength, the Lemsip wrappers were to give you a clue that he might be a bit poorly.

if he is anything like mine ... you haven't a hope in hell of him suffering in silence. I find it best to go out and ignore him or at the very least spend the evening in a different room under the pretense of not wanting to have it passed on to me in case ds gets it!
