This morning at school run time I parked my car next to the kerb on a residential road. There was a driveway exit 2 feet behind me and another 3-4 feet in front of me.

mum in animal print car (paw print paintwork on a Fiat I think it was)pulled up in front of me and asked me to move back so she could fit her car in front of mine.

The space wasn't big enough, as I calmly pointed out, and I didn't want to block any residents' driveways, but she wasn't having any of it and started laying into me saying I obviously had problems with my parking abilities. I just replied that I was trying to park considerately and I was sorry but she'd have to find another space.

This isn't an AIBU question really, more of a WTF is wrong with people sort of rant. There were other spaces available very nearby and in fact she put her car into one about 30 yards away a mere 30 seconds or so later !
