Was walking back from the busstop (still snowed in so can't drive) in driving sleet at about 7 this evening. We live down a long lane, so all traffic is going to the village. Carrying a ruck sack, bag, wearing a work suit and wellies. Obviously not walking a dog or having a brisk hike. Noone else out walking. Two of my neighbours drove straight past without stopping. Before you say it, no, they wouldn't have known who I was, due to anorak, hood etc etc. AIBU thinking that maybe they could have stopped to offer a lift?
