My friend has an 8 year old son who is constantly in trouble at school for fighting and acting up.
She has told him that if he can behave himself she will buy him the game he wants the most...Grand Theft Auto 4.

I repeat, he is 8

LoveMyLapTop · 07/02/2009 21:18

Your friend is worse than an idiot

beanieb · 07/02/2009 21:19

not unreasonable if she's told him he'll get it if he behaves for 10 years

psychomum5 · 07/02/2009 21:20

that is not being an idiot.

that is being irresponsable, as well as illegal!

TheCrackFox · 07/02/2009 21:23

"If you stop violent behaviour, I will buy you a gift glorifying violent behaviour". She sounds a bit ridiculous.

Kimi · 07/02/2009 21:30

Yay more ways for him to be violent....and get all his girls out working.

LadyOfWaffle · 07/02/2009 21:39

My SIL lets her 5 year old play this all evening (inc. at table) on a PSP. He is very violent.

Alambil · 07/02/2009 21:41

And she wonders why he has violence issues?
