To want to book a holiday without DH knowing?

Holidays have always been more of a priority to me than DH. I really like my week of sun and knowing it will be sunny! But this year we promised that we'd see how the debts were looking before booking. In a few months time we'll owe about 2 grand still.But I usually cover that from bonuses at work but they're not guaranteed, although they usually do pay for all our holidays too. In the end his usual habit is to say go ahead, ok where, and leave me to book it. Never really knows exactly where he's going! Doesn't mind. But I've seen a really good deal for Antigua for August. Should I do it or is it unfair?

Why cant you contact him? Surely you have time to speak with him and the deal still be available .

how much is the hol? and how much of a good deal is it?

Bucking the trend here... but if he has said 'go ahead book it' AND it's a good deal.. then I would, as holiday are important to me for all the same reasons you state.

I'm inclined to agree with the last comment! But on antigua they're rare in August. The trouble is even looking at majorca, by the time you go somewhere half decent, and then pay to eat out, it costs usually about £2500. The holiday is £3000, all inclusive. But I guess trust is worth more than a holiday!
