No yanbu. If he looks anything like the snowman on The ,er, Snowman, I would be sobbing. Am that you had enough snow to build a snowman though.

Kitten, you think you have problems, our snowmans head has fallen off and I KNOW the kids will blame me when they get home! (for not having stopped it or performed emergency first aid treatment etc)

i thought the moment when our snowman's face slid off was particularly horrific, but 4yo dd thought it was hilarious. they do say kids can be cruel...

Our snowman's carrot nose fell off in the night and landed in his, er, groin area.

I suspected the neighbours at first but there where no footprints...

Walking today past the spot where we built our snowman, all I saw was a lonely carrot. There was still snow around so I think someone may have sabotaged the poor bugger, although further up the field was a MASSIVE snowball so he may have gone on to better things...

theres no chance of our snowman melting here snows still as thick as it was. with more forecast its meant to have stopped here by now weve had it since sunday.

Like your snowman oybk we only built ours yesterday and have to laugh as dd told me it wasn't the right sort of snow to make a snowman

I have learned so much about snowman building this week.
Mondays snow was too dry and powdery and wouldnt stick together. Hence dds cone effort.

Tuesdays snow (for us) was perfect - clumped together and allowed our penguin sculpture.

Wednesday (today) it was all crunchy with icy bits but fell apart as soon as we scrunched it. hopeless.

Am sorry about your snowman MaryAnn our snow mans face now looks a bit like the mask from Halloween. Hes still stood up though and I expect temps to drop soon so with a bit of tlc he may live til tomorrow - hooray!

Update on our snowman.. His carrot nose/penis has now fallen off and the dog seen running off with it..
