honestly. i have seen so many threads where the Op has come on and said "yes i know. i am being unreasonable" and omcpletly agreed with the rest of the posters and yet there are still people who insist on getting very shouty.

why does what someone else think make some of you get so uppity?

Most people only read the OP and skim or ignore the rest. It doesn't matter how many times the OP can pop back up and say "you're right, I'm wrong, I've reconsidered etc", it won't get seen. Or at least not registered.

There is the opposite situation where people are really convinced they're not being unreasonable and only post so they can have this confirmed. They then get really, really upset when people tell them that actually they are BVU.

Somehow it seems to surprise people that no matter how R their stance is there will always be someone who finds it VVU.
