To accuse DH of loving his multi fuel stove more than me and the kids?

Last straw today, he came home unexpectedly, naturally me and kids like slobs still in jim jams, and his first comment was that I had loaded the logs wrong which would prevent optimum ventilation. He would happily spend all days poking it, chopping logs for it. researching best type of wood etc. You can hardly see out of the windows of this house for dirt yet he polishes up the glass front religiously. He broke it a few weeks ago and nearly cried, I was delighted.

OOh, Clara - you sound harsh! Maybe he was pissed off at battling through the snow and traffic to come home and find you all still in your PJs!

We have one, and Ido get a bit of satisfaction from playing with it!!!
However, I am yet to research the best logs for it!!

I know I am a meanie and I do love him dearly, but if I were one of those time in motion consultants I'm sure I would find that after his work/fire tending duties/buffing car/bike fiddling there is very little family time left. Or time for me to read grazia/blow dry hair/
