DH is convinced that I tell 'all our personal business' to 'strange people on the internet' but in fact I am incredibly reserved on MN and very rarely say anything much personal - so I have namechanged in case he is stalking me on here (again) but I just had to go

AAAAAAARGH.

He has just gone to bed in a huff because I didn't find it funny when he "jokingly" said me talking (briefly) about my career/promotion prospects was 'boring'. I have listened to the bloody man go on and on and on about his bloody promotion (which means, BTW, no more money coming in but that he cannot possibly be expected to be the one to cancel/change anything to deal with child-related issues, ever) and yet it is me who is BU because I failed to find his "joke" funny.

Rant over. Sorry and all that. He drives me mad in oh so many ways and I probably should leave but am too lazy/scared.

Take no notice. This too will pass.

yeah i hate that 'joke' i was kidding.....

means

i am testing the water for a reaction....it wasn't favourable...."i was joking....god your paranoid/sense of humour failure/stupid/bad communicator"

yeah cock off cocker

moondog · 02/02/2009 23:17

Surely planning to leave is a bit excessive?

moondog · 02/02/2009 23:17

at cocker cocking (cockily?) off

pointydog · 02/02/2009 23:19

lol, I like cock off cocker

namechangeforaquickrant · 02/02/2009 23:22

lol Moondog, if it was about this it would indeed be stupidly more than a little excessive. The 'should be leaving' bit is largely unrelated (apart from the emotional bullying of which this is one v. small symptom) - the rest of the stuff Custardo would react/has reacted to with 'leave, you prat' (or words to that effect) but I am not going to go into it again.

Ignore me. I have vented.

I can sort of understand the paranoia about what is posted on a message board. I'd lay off posting for a bit. Then tell him to cock off
