wihle DS3 does his own thing watching TV/playing/whinging on the other side??? Just for 1/2hr until I put him down for a nap - he's going my head in and won't let me do anything, and I've had a shitty morning too................

actuall scrap that - he half breached the barricade (but got stuck when the top of the box he was standing in caved in slightly) so I've put him up for his nap now.

I think he's feeling unsettled as the house is in chaos, but I can't sort the house out as he won't let me ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHh

You are being reasonable. You can hear what he's up to and you need 'you-time' too. It sounds like an excellent solution.
