Its pay day
I have not been paid (again) though for the poast 7 or 8 months i have been paid on time

also my boss has misplaced my P60 from last April.. and i want it, and their accountant has buggered up my tax AGAIN... ok only by about £3, but the point is he is an accountant and has done it wrong AGAIN... had to do a tax return last year as accountant did it wrong last year, and as i had to do one last year i had to do one this year, and as i owed £3 im gonna have to waste an hour of my life doing one next year (ie this April) and i am generally really cross right now

I did not get paid for November and I was furious. The bank made a mistake in transferring money from two accounts instead of one and I spent that in error so had to use overdraft to pay it back. Payday came and as we are only allowed to work half of December did not have much money but it cleared the overdraft leaving me with nothing for the second month running. Last Monday I emailed my boss to say I wanted my wages as I had no money and was told to resubmit my wage claim. Last Thursday I knew my wage claims had not been picked up she phoned in a panic saying if I wanted paid she could have got me an emergency payment as it was so easy to do. Would I have sent 9 emails, the first was 29 December asking about my wages if I didn't want paid. Well that just leaves the backdated pay and holiday pay which we were told would be paid eventually as the girl they employed had exams and could not fit that in. I know how you feel.

my record for late payment was 27 days but that was a couple of years ago and has not been that since and it was partly the banks fault as well

nannyL, were you expecting the payment to be paid direct into your bank account? - because most banks won't do that on a saturday. In my company if payday falls on a non-bank day we pay the working day before. If your employer doesn't do this at least you should get it monday...

Re: the P60. Your boss has an obligation to issue this to you within few weeks of tax year end (31st May I think). Did you never get this? Also employers are now allowed to issue duplicates, does he use SAGE payroll software or anything like that? If so a duplicate should be easy enough to produce.

No idea what he / his accountant uses

as far as im concerned i have to be paid by last day of the month... its now 1st feb and i still havent been paid!

yes i shoukd have had 1 in may but back then they were dealing with close family critical illness & death, and on my side my father was very ill and i was in a nasty car crash so it go overlooked as we were both dealing with stuff much more important!
