I just went onto the Sandy Balls website after reading a thread, as we are going away for DSs birthday, and they will not allow us because we are under 25.

Well, until I realised DH is 26 now , but, this time last year we wouldn't have been allowed so still . We aren't all yobbos!

Youngssters!
Beware of them!
Strange rule though esp if it is mixed sexes, could understand if they dont want stag/hen do's

Sandy Balls.

Sounds rude.

Or uncomfortable.

LadyOfWaffle · 31/01/2009 17:29

Yeah, maybe Sandy Balls isn't the way to go...

i agree ladyofwaffle, you aren't all yobbos, even i was under 25 once [looks wistful]. But i would be grateful that there wont be hoards or youngsters doing what youngsters do best - being loud and in yer face, that doesn't mean yobbo. Just clearly not type of atmosphere Sandy balls is looking for - reminds myself to look at website!

I can't see why they can't set an age limit if they want to. What's the big deal? Do you think Club 18-30 are discriminating too? Or car insurance for women/seniors only? Or holiday resorts only for adults without children? Or clubs for over 21? If some people want to go to a holiday village where the other guests will all be 25 or over, then let them. Though with a name like Sandy Balls ... !

Just lie about your age, you crazed young thing

LadyOfWaffle · 31/01/2009 20:42

No Chippy, If they don't want me it's their loss

Ha! Serves you right whippersnappers!

No of course you shouldn't. That is pretty crap.

We prefer guests not to bring commercial vehicles (vans, mini-vans etc) to Sandy Balls. Those guests who insist on using such vehicles may be required to park them away from pitches/accommodation areas at our direction.

sound a bit snobby to me
